How it works

  1. Upload a PDF

A handbook, a report, lecture notes, a book chapter: anything with text worth teaching.

  2. Claude writes the course

An AI author reads the whole document, plans modules and lessons, and writes every slide, narration script and quiz.

  3. Share it

Learners watch narrated lesson videos or step through slides with a transcript, then check themselves with quizzes.

Questions

What does CourseMaker make from my PDF?

A complete course: a plan of modules and lessons, a designed slide for each point with illustrations, diagrams or infographics, natural narration for every slide, an animated video for every lesson, and a short quiz after each lesson.

What kinds of documents work?

Any PDF with text worth teaching: handbooks, policies, reports, lecture notes, articles, book chapters and whole books, up to 200 pages and 32 MB.

How much does a course cost?

You pay with credits, which come in packs starting at 5 credits for $6. A 1 to 2 page handout takes 1 credit and a 50-page book about 13. You see the exact number before anything is charged, and credits don't expire.

How do learners take the course?

They can watch each lesson as a narrated video, or step through the slides in the browser with the audio and a transcript, then answer the lesson's quiz. You can also download the lesson videos.

Who can see my courses?

Only you, until you make a course public. A public course can be watched by anyone with the link and is listed on the Explore page. You can make it private again or delete it at any time.

What language is the course written in?

The language of your document. You can also leave notes for the AI author, for example to ask for another language, a particular audience or a focus on certain chapters.
